Finally i managed it to improve the SMI 0.3.4 by http://www.smiproject.org .

• I redesigned the access controls, wiped out the "Helper" and "Read only"
• The "Technician" got rid of some rights concerning the systemwide settings.
• The "Ices" has been -disabled- ( i commented it out, had no need for it )
• Instead of the "Ices" now the "SC_TRANS" is build in to be set up separately as playlistserver

These will be the next steps :

• Implementing my own playlistcontrol [DONE at 18/10/2010]
• After that > Playing 'round with the graphical layout
• Finally build an own installerscript

At the end i will send the development team of SMI the changed sourcecode. Maybe it will help them to pass some of their milestones :)

EDIT 20/10/2010:

I'm planning to improove  my playlistcontrol. Maybe i'll manage it to setup a Day / Time driven PL. That u are able to set up 2 different start and stop events per day. This may enable the possibility to set up an auto nightfly with fixed times. mmh  we'll see : )
